EmLeMa - The Portfolio Of Emmanuel Leal


This is the portfolio of animation, illustrator & designer Emmanuel Leal. The concept of this website was a folder piece with an edge. We incorporated lot's of colors but kept it subtle enough to make the artwork standout. The Background and main design elements were drawn by the artist Emmanuel Leal.

The client wanted the feel of a writers desk with a slight feminine edge.The site included some hidden easter eggs, such as the ability to scroll through photos from the camera.

Grok Of The Rock

This website was created to promote the childrens Book "Grok Of The Rock". This website was full flash and involved tracing the artists artwork to create pieces for animation. Each page on the website was themed based on the locations within the book. I also created simple flash games for the children visiting the website, as well as a small online community for children and parents.

This was an online store providing flight gear for feminine flyers. I created a flash navigation that simulated dials on an airplane and some basic animation in the header with moving clouds. The concept was a modern but girly flight theme.

A christian independent publisher, I made this website as part of my re-branding efforts as their on site web designer. I went with a nautical theme to honor the founder who had passed away and loved sailing. The company is no-longer in existence.

This was the online portfolio of author LaVerne Shaw. She was a pg-13 styled romance author and thus I went for a layout that would appeal to general audiences audiences but also have a romantic feeling.

Amanda Adventures

This was a full flash children's website to advertise the book "My Visit To Grandma Judy's" and also to offer an interactive community for children who enjoyed the book.I took scenes from the book which I then traced into adobe illustrator to create specific pieces for animation. Everything in the website was fully animated, it also included sound effects and games.

The programming languages I know include: CSS, HTML, XHTML, PHP, Javascript and Actionscript.

My software skills include Adobe Dreamweaver & Flash. The graphics for all websites were designed with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. Porgramming was done via Adobe Dreamweaver.
